In 1980, he was admitted to the Fine Arts Department of Nanjing University of the Arts, majoring in Chinese painting. After graduating in 1984, he worked in Jiangsu Fine Arts Publishing House as the editor of "Jiangsu Pictorial". He has held many personal exhibitions and published a portfolio.
