Xiao Min

Born in Zhejiang in 1976, graduated from the Sculpture Department of China Academy of Art in July 1998, and obtained a master's degree from the Academy of Fine Arts of Shanghai University in 2001. Currently teaching as an associate professor in the Sculpture Department of the Academy of Fine Arts, Shanghai University. Dark colors, mottled buildings, traces of corrosion, everything is telling The sadness and sadness washed away by time are heavily precipitated in my heart, completely drowning out the excitement arising from the discovery of new works of art. This is the first impression of Xiao Min's work. As an Asian artist, Xiao Min has been trained in oriental art since childhood. His orientalism is not only reflected in his inheritance of traditional Chinese art resources, but also in his oriental thinking. Xiao Min's works are full of tragic colors. With a light sigh, he criticizes the indifference of the post-industrial age and seeks the true meaning of life. In his sadness, there is a kind of eternal spirit that is unwilling to compromise, a kind of courageous and speculative power, and at the same time brings people philosophical thinking about life and predicament.
